1. Take the Rizal Park Manila Walk
The Rizal Park serves as a tribute to the Philippine’s national hero Jose Rizal. It is a haven for relaxation and unwinding fun in the midst of Manila located near Intramuros. Rizal Park has gardens, historical markers, squares, a grand stadium, an observatory, an outdoor concert hall, an artists’ sanctuary, a light-and-sound theatre and a lot more. Rizal Park is truly the heart of Manila’s flourishing financial, business, industrial and institutional centres, overlooking the famous and scenic Manila Bay.
2. Visit Magellan’s Cross in Cebu
The cross remains to be part of the history of Cebu and is believed to have been planted by the Spaniards as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan marking the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines. Aside from the cross, when you look above, you’ll see that there are beautiful paintings on the ceiling of the hexagonal chapel that depicts pieces of Cebu’s history. This is an amazing site that will bring you back to memories past of Cebu.
3. Have a Picnic at Central Park, New York
Central Park is pretty sizeable known for its 250 acres of lawn sited at the heart of New York, means there are a number of great spots to lay out a 5-foot-by-5-foot picnic blanket. Spend an afternoon people watching, nudge a few row boats onto the pond or what more; sounding pretty simple, set up a picnic blanket on the grass and put together a lovely spread of salads, spreads, fruits, bread, cheeses and desserts from nearby marketplaces and dine al fresco in the beautiful nature of Central Park.
4. Stand at the top of Paris’ Eiffel Tower at night
The Eiffel tower is the most distinguished landmark in Paris and hundreds of tourists visit it during the day. For a truly enchanting experience, try to visit just before sunset to see the city dim around you and to be there when the lights start to twinkle. After sunset, the Eiffel tower turns on its charm with sparkling lights and a view of Paris by night. You can make a trip to the top for stunning panoramic views of the city. Have an aerial view of the City of Lights shining in its ethereal glory imagining that it is simply fantastique.
5. Cycle across the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge
San Francisco is one of the world’s most beautiful cities and one of the best places to ride a bike. Renting or bringing your own bicycle and riding it across the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the best experiences when visiting San Francisco. When cycling your way to and over the bridge, try to take in the unique scenery and skylines that will lead you from one waterfront to the next. There are great and spectacular views the entire way and it’s a wonderful opportunity to see one of the world’s most renowned landmarks “up close and personal.”
6. Watch a play at the Sydney Opera House
Known for its unique architecture and fantastic views overlooking the harbor, the Sydney Opera House is the most iconic opera house in the world. Walking right up to it and into it to appreciate its beauty is one of the common things to do in the opera house. While known for its features, there are also lots of shows happening, and it’s well worth booking to see one. The main concert hall is impressive inside and you’ll be able to go to the bar which overlooks the harbor and Harbor Bridge. Plus you get to see a great show too!
