One Home, One Planet
What’s something in common we have with every other living thing? We all share the same space, a common habitat, one planet. Every single act you perform affects everything around you, no matter how tiny it might be, or how little thought you put into it. But why is it that so many of our actions seem to be so habitual to us? That’s because over 40% of the time, you aren’t actually making a conscious decision to do something, you’re doing it simply out of pure habit.
How many of us have habits so deeply ingrained that we don’t even think twice about it anymore? Sometimes, it’s the smallest things that make the biggest difference. Imagine what we could do if we all made an effort to live more consciously. All you have to do is to make one tiny change in your routine, a change that could become a major contribution to the world.
A little change seems simple enough, but it’s a change that too many people take for granted. It’s time to get out of the rut you’ve been stuck in. Let’s go out there and live a little more, instead of moving around on autopilot. Carpe diem, there’s not a moment to lose. Habits may take up nearly half of your everyday life; but it’s the least you can do to make sure you’ve got the right ones. After all, it’s not just for you, but for the world around you, too.
